Greater Worcester Community Foundation Partners with Resilia to Strengthen Local Nonprofit Organizations

Partnership provides support to a cohort of community-based small, grassroots, and BIPOC-led nonprofits from across Worcester County with capacity-building technology and 1:1 nonprofit coaching 

New Orleans, La. - Resilia, a social enterprise with offices in New Orleans and New York City, and Greater Worcester Community Foundation (GWCF) have come together to provide capacity-building support to a diverse group of small, grassroots, and Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) led and serving nonprofits from across Worcester County, Massachusetts.

With a mission to enhance their community through philanthropic leadership, GWCF’s grantmaking priorities are developed through analyzing data and working in close partnership with nonprofit and communal leaders. GWCF has a history of supporting nonprofit capacity through its Nonprofit Support Center.

Continuing the Foundation’s commitment to Arts & Creativity, arts & culture organizations were highly represented, comprising one-third of the cohort.

Through the Resilia partnership, the cohort will receive access to 1:1 nonprofit coaching, online training, fundraising tools, and peer-to-peer learning to build their capacity and maximize their impact.

Through the partnership, Greater Worcester Community Foundation has also joined Resilia's Elevate initiative, a first-of-its-kind national learning and action network of 50+ funders aimed at elevating the capacity and voices of BIPOC-led and serving grassroots organizations.
