Resilia Partners with OneStar to Strengthen Rural Nonprofits Throughout Texas

Partnership to focus on supporting rural organizations with limited access to resources

New Orleans, La. - Resilia, a social enterprise with offices in New Orleans and New York City, is partnering with OneStar to strengthen the capacity of rural nonprofits throughout Texas. Resilia will provide 1:1 coaching, online training, fundraising tools, and other resources to help an initial cohort of 25 nonprofits accelerate impact in their communities.

OneStar works to strengthen Texas communities by creating pathways for Texans to engage, connect, and accelerate their impact. Formed by the State of Texas, OneStar advances civic engagement and volunteer action within the state, including administering AmeriCorps, strengthening the statewide volunteer infrastructure, advocating for and building the capacity of the Texas nonprofit sector, and equipping Texas communities to be more resilient during all phases of disaster.

“We are thrilled to launch the inaugural cohort of the Texas Rural Nonprofit Network with 25 nonprofits from across the state to foster connection and collaboration,” said Chris Bugbee, President and CEO of OneStar. “By partnering with Resilia, we can better serve rural organizations which otherwise have limited access to capacity-building resources and training, maximizing their impact in the community.”

Through the partnership, OneStar also has access to Resilia’s Elevate initiative, a first-of-its-kind national learning and action network of 40+ funders aimed at elevating the capacity and voices of BIPOC-led and BIPOC-serving grassroots organizations.
