Community Foundation of Broward Partners with Resilia to Support Nonprofits Serving Broward County, FL

Partnership provides "beyond the grant" support through capacity-building technology and 1:1 nonprofit coaching

New Orleans, La. - Resilia, a social enterprise with offices in New Orleans and New York City, and the Community Foundation of Broward have come together to bolster the Foundation’s new Center for Nonprofit Excellence in its work to nurture and strengthen nonprofit organizations that play a critical role in the lives of Broward County, Florida residents.

Launched by the Community Foundation of Broward, the new Nonprofit Center is the region’s premiere resource for training, technological assistance, leadership development, grants, and online tools to help local nonprofit organizations achieve their full potential. 

“Broward Center for Nonprofit Excellence at the Community Foundation of Broward is excited to partner with Resilia to empower and strengthen the capacity of nonprofit organizations in Broward County through on-demand back-office and mission-facing tools, 1:1 nonprofit coaching, and peer-to-peer learning support that joins them where they are in their journey toward excellence," said Cathy Brown, Director, Broward Center for Nonprofit Excellence.

Through the partnership, the Community Foundation of Broward has also joined Resilia's Elevate initiative, a first-of-its-kind national learning and action network of 50+ funders aimed at elevating the capacity and voices of BIPOC-led and serving grassroots organizations.
