Barbara is an experienced C-suite executive and board director with more than 20 years of leadership experience building, launching and re-imagining businesses of all sizes and industry verticals. Prior to serving as Resilia's CEO, she was a Partner at Framework, a firm that specifically invests in purpose-driven technology companies with a mission to change the world for the better. Barbara holds an MBA and LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario. She is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors program at Rotman School of Management and the private board governance program of Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association. When I’m not at work I love traveling, swimming, hanging out with my family and our dog Gigi and going on adventures of all sorts.
Jess Forrester, a seasoned “full-stack” marketer with experience in the martech and edtech sectors, boasts a successful track record of spearheading high-growth initiatives in her CMO roles. Notably, at Quorum, a top public affairs software firm, she played a pivotal role in achieving 6x growth. Jess specializes in go-to-market alignment and nurturing innovative marketing approaches while championing intentional, inclusive company cultures. Beyond her professional endeavors, she's a guitarist and a dedicated ice cream enthusiast, maintaining a freezer stocked with at least three flavors at all times.
Born and raised in Mumbai, India, Dinesh moved to Philadelphia in 2006 where he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Masters in CS. Since then, he has had brief stints in Stamford, Toronto and eventually in NYC, which he has called home for more than a decade. Dinesh loves a good hike and has scaled many a peak from the mountains of Machu Picchu to Kilimanjaro. His love for travel and nature has taken him through some incredible places across the world with Norway being his most memorable trip.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Erin’s journey began as a science educator, later transitioning to EdTech. She empowered district leaders and educators to leverage technology to shift to more learner-centered practices there. She is passionate about uplifting nonprofit missions and’s committed to enhancing customer experiences and driving impact through grantee support and capacity-building. Beyond her role, Erin finds solace in the outdoors with her family - exploring trails, mountain biking and running. .
A University of Pittsburgh alumnus originally from Philadelphia, PA, Nahja lives in Buffalo, NY with her chocolate lab, Emmy. She is deeply passionate about supporting nonprofits achieve their mission and create sustainable change. Nahja joined Resilia with a proven track record of supporting frontline nonprofits through coaching, workplace wellness program development, and trauma-informed training and technical assistance both internationally and domestically. Before transitioning to Resilia, Nahja worked for the Sanar Institute and the National Human Trafficking Hotline where she developed skills in interpersonal violence programming and implementation. When she is not working alongside changemakers, Nahja enjoys getting outside, traveling near and far, and bingeing the latest fantasy tv show.
Originally from Maryland, Amanda fell in love with the city of New Orleans during a college spring break trip to rebuild after Hurricane Katrina. After graduating, she served two terms with Americorps organizing more than 20,000 volunteers to aid in rebuilding efforts, with more than 100 homes rebuilt and families moved back home. Along with her love for New Orleans, her passion for nonprofit and impact driven work grew and she has served in various administrative and operational roles in nonprofit organizations, including the YMCA. Her joy outside of work comes from building and fixing things, playing with her dogs and spending time with her husband and daughter.
Rachel started her career in event marketing before transitioning to nonprofit work to fulfill her passion for catalyzing positive change. After eight years serving as a fundraiser and community builder for mission-driven organizations, she joined Resilia as the Philanthropic Partnerships Manager, East Coast from her home base in New York. Outside of work, you’ll likely find Rachel hiking, cooking, or tending to her little flock of backyard chickens with her two sons and husband.
Sarah brings 6 years of experience in the SaaS industry where she has contributed to and led fast-growing teams in customer success, support, and community. Sarah also has 2 years of experience working for nonprofit membership organizations focused on civic engagement and opportunities for women. Throughout her career, Sarah has been passionate about bringing tech solutions to the public and nonprofit sectors to enhance their impact. Sarah lives in Washington DC with her husband. Outside of work, you can find her on long runs or walks around the city, trying every new restaurant she can in her neighborhood, or spending time with family back in South Carolina.
Dell is a Community Manager based out of the Bay Area, California. He helps companies scale communities and cultivate strong relationships to increase retention and has spent his entire career in social media/tech. When Dell isn’t working he’s curating art or watching documentaries.
Maggie is a marketing leader based out of Austin, Texas. She has worked with tech companies and nonprofits to align products and users to scale better relationships. In addition to marketing, Maggie enjoys playing music, gardening, and eating every kind of taco.
Born and raised in the woods of Vermont, Rustin is now based in downtown Boston. He has spent the last seven years helping innovative tech companies grow through full-funnel marketing campaigns and operational problem-solving. Outside of work, Rustin spends his time reading memoirs and fantasy novels, running slowly, biking along the Charles River, losing at chess, and going on adventures with his wife and dog.
Born and raised in Little Rock, AR, Chelsea now calls Fort Worth, TX home. As a Curriculum & Content Developer, she often spends her days talking with nonprofit experts and tapping into her Communications and Higher Education background to create quality educational content. Outside of work, Chelsea is likely planning her next trip, looking for a new restaurant, or consulting with nature.
Based in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Meghan brings over a decade of experience in EdTech and enterprise SaaS to her work at Resilia. She’s excited to use her experience to build delightful products that help nonprofits advance in their own professional development and learning journeys. When not at her desk, Meghan can be found gardening, watching bad movies with friends and family, or skating with her local roller derby league.
Originally from NC but coming to you from DC, Alecia brings 13+ yrs of design experience. She is dedicated to fostering a culture of informed, empathetic designers who create intuitive experiences that surpass expectations. Her strategic approach incorporates design systems, user research, and collaborative partnerships, ensuring continuous learning and adaptation in fast-paced environments. When not working, she's with her Sam's, traveling, creating digital or fluid art, hiking, playing sports, or planning other activities. Her core values of curiosity, accountability, transparency, and positivity shine through all of her pursuits.
Mexican Product Designer who has been in a quest to master the art of meeting users with business goals for the past 7 years in different and diverse industries. Steven was born and raised in New England and currently resides in Boston. He has spent the last 10+ years in technology sales and is excited to join Resilia where he gets to combine his experience in technology with his enthusiasm for the nonprofit sector. Outside of work, Steven is passionate about fitness, being in nature, sneakers, ancient history, all things Marvel, and cooking.
Don is a Brooklyn native with a passion for baking, writing, volunteering, and all actitivies outdoors. When he's not coming up with fun ways for our team to collaborate, he's hanging out with his two boys or hanging out with his pet cat or pet dog.
Currently in Denver, previously in lots of places, Erik has over 15 years of experience in the tech industry. He enjoys exploring the great outdoors and has a passion for hiking, biking, and photography. Erik is also an avid cook and enjoys experimenting with new recipes in his free time. When he's not working, you can find him playing board games with friends or planning his next travel adventure. As a manager, Erik is committed to fostering a positive work culture and mentoring his team to success.
Born and raised in Bronx, New York, Jefry has been building software for 8 years from startups to large enterprises. Though an engineer at heart he’s also fascinated in building scalable work culture and mentoring engineers. A native New Yorker, Will leads the Data and Analytics function out of Resilia's NYC office. He began his career as a marketing analytics consultant and has since transitioned to the start-up world, where he enjoys building scalable, flexible, and self-service analytics systems. When he's not working on a new data model, you can find him playing guitar, seeing concerts, reading a biography of a political or economic leader, backpacking a national park, or biking the Central Park loop.
A New Jersey native with Portuguese roots, Daniel graduated from Montclair University in with a Masters in IT. Daniel is passionate about travel, games, the outdoors and his family. When he’s not in the office, you can find him hiking, watching soccer with his family, or relaxing watching shows like Futurama with his wife and their two fur babies.
As an engineer, Kevin has supported startups as well as enterprise in the fields of real estate, e-commerce, and biosciences. Always looking to build polished user experiences, his passion is to streamline complex processes for others through software. A bit of a nomad, he (mostly) hails from San Diego, CA but can be found traveling worldwide with his family.
Born and raised in Durango Mexico, he has over five years of experience in software engineering in industries ranging from Fintech to Agtech. When he is not building or checking out code, he spends time with his family or building and fixing things at home. He also loves traveling and he's only missing two more states in Mexico.
Jordan lives in Austin, Texas and is a Software Engineer at Resilia. Her experiences range from case management with various nonprofits to building out large scale web and mobile applications. In the wild, you can find her cooking new, overly-complicated recipes, buying more books than she can ever actually get to reading, and hanging out with her amazing step kiddos.
Born and raised in Taiwan, Taihua always introduces herself as “Taiwan without the 'n' at the end, 'Taiwa'”. She moved to NYC to study for her Masters in Music Technology at NYU, co-founded a guitar school, and eventually decided to pursue a career in software engineering. At Resilia, Taihua spends her time coding and using technology to solve problems. When not at work, Taihua enjoys exploring different neighborhoods, traveling, playing drums in a band, and anything music-related.
Born and raised in Sugar Land, Texas, Calvin is a software engineer based in New York with a background working at a variety of startups. He enjoys building excellent user experiences and filling any roles needed to make his team successful. Outside of work, Calvin loves to cook and spend time with his cat, Karl-Anthony Towns.
Born and based in Denver, Colorado, Cyanne spent nearly 10 years working in the art museum industry before discovering her love of programming and joining a web development program at Turing School of Software and Design. She's passionate about learning new things and hoping to make the world a better place with each line of code she writes. Outside of programming she loves woodworking, playing video games and knitting.
Liz Christine has dedicated her career to supporting nonprofit organizations in developing structures, policies and procedures to improve efficiency across human resources, operations and technology. She joined the Resilia team to oversee the employee life cycle and support a work environment where employees feel developed, supported, and empowered to do their best work. She is an SHRM-CP, and when she isn’t listening to an HR podcast, she is perfecting her gluten-free baking with her husband as a taste tester while her cat waits for scraps.
