The Miami Foundation Partners with Resilia to Support BIPOC-led Nonprofits and Organizations
Partnership to focus on strengthening small to midsize organizations
New Orleans, La. - Resilia, a social enterprise with offices in New Orleans and New York City, and the Miami Foundation have come together to strengthen the capacity of BIPOC-led organizations throughout Greater Miami.
Leveraging Resilia, The Miami Foundation, along with Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation, will provide capacity-building support through coaching and technical assistance to its Community Grants partners.
“As The Miami Foundation explores all of the ways to support its partners, investing in our grantee’s leadership and operations is a top priority,” says Lindsey Linzer, Vice President of Community Investments of the Miami Foundation. “The Miami Foundation selected Resilia as one of its capacity-building offerings because of its proven results and flexible, on-demand approach to supporting nonprofits where they need it most.”
“The Miami Foundation has been committed to serving Miami’s diverse communities for 55 years. We are proud to join forces to support local nonprofits,” said Resilia Founder and CEO Sevetri Wilson. “Resilia looks forward to leveraging our successful track record working with BIPOC-led organizations to help maximize positive impact throughout Greater Miami.”
Through the partnership, The Miami Foundation has also joined Resilia’s Elevate initiative, a first-of-its-kind national learning and action network of 35+ funders aimed at elevating the capacity and voices of BIPOC-led and BIPOC-serving grassroots organizations.
