Tracy Family Foundation Partners with Resilia to Strengthen Rural, Grassroots Organizations and Changemakers
Partnership to focus on capacity building for rural, grassroots changemakers
New Orleans, La. - Resilia, a social enterprise with offices in New Orleans and New York City, and the Tracy Family Foundation (TFF) have joined forces to strengthen the capacity of nonprofit community organizations in the West Central Illinois area.
The Tracy Family Foundation has a history of capacity-building initiatives for their grantees and will leverage Resilia's innovative program to empower rural grassroots changemakers who typically lack access to funding opportunities.
”We want our organization partners to have access to the tools and resources they need to thrive, but those resources can be scarce in rural areas,” said Dan Teefey, Tracy Family Foundation Executive Director. “Resilia offers our organization partners 24/7 access to expert tools, training, and resources to help them raise funds, maximize impact, and build capacity.”
The Tracy Family Foundation’s mission to advance innovative, collaborative, and sustainable change in local communities aligns with Resilia’s commitment to strengthen organizations with the most critical needs.
“Like the Tracy Family Foundation, Resilia believes the greatest power to impact change begins in the communities in which we live in and serve,” said Sevetri Wilson, Resilia CEO and Founder. “We’re proud to partner to strengthen the capacity of BIPOC-led and serving nonprofits and grassroots organizations making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.”
Through the partnership, the Tracy Family Foundation has also joined Resilia’s Elevate initiative, a first-of-its-kind national learning and action network of 30+ funders aimed at elevating the capacity and voices of BIPOC-led and BIPOC-serving nonprofits.
