Helping Private Foundations Strengthen Nonprofit Partners, Equitably

Through a combination of an online platform, 1:1 nonprofit coaching and peer-to-peer learning, private foundations are supporting their nonprofit partners in building mission-facing and back office capacity in a manner that best suits them. The Resilia program is centered on trust-based philanthropy principles while capturing cohort-level impact data and insights.

About The Program

Equitable Access to Capacity-Building Resources

Private foundations sponsor the Resilia program for their grantees, nonprofit partners, and fiscally sponsored organizations to enable three entry points into comprehensive capacity-building resources. Nonprofit partners then get to decide what support they need, how and when, depending on their organizational needs, urgency, and preferred mode of support.

What Our Private Foundation Partners Are Saying

  • “Resilia has allowed us to meet a long-time goal of serving our grantee partners beyond the grant by offering skillful and accessible support with capacity building. When our grantees tell us they’re stuck on an organizational challenge, it feels good to connect them to Resilia’s team who can follow up with resources, problem-solving strategies, or simply an experienced coach to talk things through.”

  • “Meeting changemakers where they are in pursuit of racial equity in Arkansas is at the heart of the mission of the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation. As such, we are pleased to support Resilia as they partner with the hard-working geniuses who run grassroots organizations in our state to increase their sustainability and resiliency.“

  • “The Duke Endowment strongly believes in racial equity, diversity and inclusion. That's why we support Investing in Leaders of Color, a capacity-building project that supports leaders serving communities of color across the Carolinas,. We are delighted to partner with Resilia, which will provide these leaders with technology and ongoing support through capacity-building resources, nonprofit coaching and a peer-to-peer collective.”
